LEP leaders recognised in Queen’s Birthday Honours

The Queen’s Birthday Honours List has recognised the work of many LEP leaders who have been rewarded for their services to business and industry as follows:

LEP leaders recognised in Queen’s Birthday Honours

Ursula Lidbetter OBE.

Ursula is Chair of the Greater Lincolnshire Local Enterprise Partnership, and was awarded an OBE for services to the local economy. She is also Chief Executive of Lincolnshire Co-op.

Josephine Ann James OBE. (Jo James)

Jo is a Board member of the South East Local Enterprise Partnership, and was awarded a OBE for services to the economy in Kent. Jo is also the Chief Executive of Kent Invicta Chamber of Commerce.

Dr Julie Mills OBE

Julie is a member of the South East Midlands Local Enterprise Partnership, and was awarded a OBE for services  to Promoting Business and Education Links. Julie is also Principal and Chief Executive of Milton Keynes College.

Catherine Strachan MBE,

Catherine is a member of the Skills and Employment Board at the Hertfordshire Local Enterprise Partnership, and was awarded an MBE for services to career development and to young people. Catherine is also learning and development manager at missile group MBDA UK.

Clare Hayward MBE DL

Clare is Chair of the Cheshire & Warrington LEP Skills Committee and a member of the LEP Board. She was awarded an MBE for services to economic regeneration in Macclesfield. Clare is also Chair of ‘Make It Macclesfield’.
