Transport Knowledge Hub Parliamentary Reception

Integrating the planning and delivery of sustainable transport with new housing development

I am delighted to invite you to a reception to highlight the importance of integrating sustainable transport and new housing development. This reception marks the culmination of a high-profile series of events to promote sustainable transport as a driver of new housing held in Scotland, the North, Midlands, South West and South East. We will also be marking the publication of a new research report Integrating the planning and delivery of sustainable transport with new housing, launched earlier this year.
The reception follows a recent series of TKH events across the UK which brought together senior local leaders and key figures in local transport and housing to discuss the findings of the research and the importance of transport and wider connectivity in helping to address the housing crisis, increasing the accessibility of sites for redevelopment and attracting inward investment.
This event will provide an opportunity for Parliamentarians and government officials to meet and hear from local decision-makers and transport specialists in addressing the identified barriers to integrating transport and planning.
Please RSVP to transportknowledgehub@connectpa.co.uk or call 020 7592 9490 if you would like further information.
Yours sincerely
Claire Haigh
