ADEPT Autumn Conference 2018

ADEPT Autumn Conference: Shaping places for thriving communities. Preparations for this year’s ADEPT conference are well under way – and we would love to see you there! If you haven't already booked your place, please read on...

Last year’s conference focused on ADEPT’s core purpose: being first for place and fit for the future, examining what the future holds and our role as place shapers. This year we will look at how we actually create those places by delivering sustainable growth for thriving communities.

We’re really excited to have as our guest of honour the Transport Minister, Jesse Norman MP, as part of a packed programme that includes plenaries, workshops, and a Directors’ Dragons’ Den.  The speaker line-up includes:

  • Tom Walker, Homes England: Delivering new homes in the right place at the right cost: meeting the Government’s ambitions (plenary)
  • Cheryl Swales, Association of Employment & Learning Providers: Skills for growth (workshop)
  • Christine Gaskell, Cheshire Warrington LEP, Mo Isap, Greater Manchester LEP and Rebecca Weston, Cumbria LEP: private and public sectors driving ambitious place-based industrial strategies (plenary)

There’s a real buzz around this year’s conference and we’re looking forward to an exciting and challenging couple of days. Don’t miss it!

More details and the full programme can be found here and you can book your place here.  If you require further advice or information please email Alison Shea at AlderCross or phone 01244 813335.
