LEP Leaders recognised in Queen's Birthday Honours

The Queen’s Birthday Honours List has recognised the work of many LEP leaders who have been rewarded for their services to business and industry as follows:

Professor Chris Husbands – Knight Bachelor

Chris has been awarded a knighthood in the Queen's Birthday Honours for services to higher education. Chris is a member of the Sheffield City Region LEP Board, and is Vice-Chancellor of Sheffield Hallam University,

 

Heidi Mottram – CBE

Heidi has been awarded a CBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honours for services to the Water Industry and Business Community. Heidi is a member of the North East LEP Board, and Chief Executive Officer of Northumbrian Water Group.

 

Richard Bridgman – OBE

Richard is awarded an OBE for services to training young people. Richard is an active member of the New Anglia LEP Skills Board, a STEM Ambassador, and Enterprise Advisor to Thetford Academy as part of the New Anglia Enterprise Adviser Network. He is founder of Thetford engineering business Warren Services.

 

Councillor Patricia Bradwell - OBE  

Patricia was awarded an OBE for services to Local Government. Patricia is a member of the Greater Lincolnshire LEP Employment and Skills Board, and Deputy Leader of Lincolnshire County Council.

Richard Smith - OBE

Richard is awarded an OBE for services to Military Heritage. Richard is a member of the Dorset LEP Board, and Director of the The Tank Museum.

 

Gillian Alton - OBE

Gillian is awarded an OBE for services to Education. Gillian is a member of the Humber LEP Business Development Board, and is Chief Executive Officer of the Grimsby Institute Group. 

 

Councillor Timothy Swift – MBE 

Councillor Timothy Swift is awarded an MBE for services to Local Government and Regeneration in Halifax, West Yorkshire. Timothy is a member of the Leeds City Region LEP Board and a Councillor for Calderdale Council.

 

Albert Pattison – MBE

Albert Pattison is awarded an MBE for services to International Trade and the Economy in the Tees Valley and to charity. Albert is a member of the Tees Valley LEP, and Founder of Hart Biologicals.
