Delivering growth: Where next for Local Enterprise Partnerships?

PwC were sponsors of a private dinner with LEP Chairs and Ministers in June 2015. PwC also worked with the Smith Institute on a research project on the future of LEPs, hosting a breakfast briefing at the LEP annual conference in March 2015 and publishing a report 'Delivering growth: Where next for Local Enterprise Partnerships?' in June 2015.

Stephanie Hyde, Executive Board member for the regions at PwC, said:

“The private sector is a vital engine for job creation and growth, and the LEPs have a critical role to play in championing local infrastructure and skills investment – creating locally devised, business led solutions. While there are differences between the scale and resources of LEPs across England, what’s common in their plans is the focus on improving private sector productivity, and we're seeing encouraging links developing between local education and businesses.”
